The place was charming old, we will be back. The hotel was a unique base for enjoying a nice enough area, close to central San Jose, and a restaurant and the bus station. Also, location was favourable and unbeatable, relatively close to an archaeological museum.

The whole experience was very enjoyable. The double room was immaculately clean and absolutely stunning with bedroom, the high ceiling, private bath. It was nice to have tea and coffee making equipment, and glassware available. The location was exceptionally nice, for example, St Paul's Church was at a walking distance from the hotel. You could walk to a shopping centre and a bakery.

Peaceful spot in a good area with a lovely view of the courtyard. The staff are really friendly and welcoming 😊.

Our stay at Casa Mayela Guest House was really enjoyable! the hotel is situated in a lovely old Victorian-style building. - the rooms were spotlessly clean with high ceilings. - Tea/coffee making equipment and glassware were provided in the room.

My room was spotlessly clean and absolutely stunning thanks to the incredibly nice staff. the room had a cute patio. - Coffee and tea making equipment, a dining area, and a sitting area turned out to be good. - the hotel was close enough to the bus station from Manuel as well as a restaurant and the bus station.

The rooms were all clean and stunning with a cute patio. The decor was beautiful. The staff were very very nice. Marvellous location near the bus station from Manuel. Conveniently located just off a restaurant and the town centre.

Surrounded by jungle, can see animals during breakfast. Self-cooking or nearby soda. Bikes for rent. Great beaches, nearby gym. Will stay again.

The place has a beautiful building with spotlessly clean rooms. The rooms have high ceilings and come with a private bathroom. 🌟

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Mayela Guest House! The location was perfect – just a short walk to Tracopa bus station and the heart of San Jose. The rooms were impeccable, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The high ceilings added a touch of elegance to the room. We loved that we were able to use the kitchen and felt like part of the family. The owners were incredibly helpful and made our stay memorable. We enjoyed it so much that we even returned before our flight back home. I highly recommend this hotel!

Although the hotel was wonderful, we did experience some traffic noise early in the morning. However, this was only a minor inconvenience and did not overshadow our overall positive experience.

A gorgeous period house with warm and welcoming host. Quiet location in central San Jose, safe neighborhood. Comfortable bed, clean room, and great hot shower. Nice sitting area in the internal courtyard. Kitchen available for guest use. Will definitely return.
